I was at work slicing and dicing away with my trusty Forschner when I looked up. And what did I see? Spanky standing there grinning up at me. (He's really short) Out of nowhere our dishwasher Maria whom I have never heard speak English beyond the words Break and Hamburger comes charging out screaming SPANKEEEEEEEEE! and grabs him in a bear hug. It was truly a scary sight seeing this little man being consumed by all those rolls of fat.
I'm not sure. But I think she missed him.
It turns out he has arthritis between his fourth and fifth vertebrae if I understood his explanation correctly. So Marias show of affection was probably not a good idea. Well, a show of affection from her would never be a good idea. But you get my point I think. Any way back to what I was saying. His back is pretty much fucked for life. The pain will come and go and get worse as the years go by. But for the moment it is under control. And Spanky is back with us at the Club being his smart ass self again. I'm happy to have my Bud back at work with us. I missed him. I think I'll go catch him a spider to show him just how much I care.
