The Flags

A Naval ship was nearing its home port when the captain noticed a
sailor on the flight deck gesturing wildly with semaphore flags. In the pier's parking lot, an attractive young woman was standing on top of a station wagon, waving flags back at the sailor. Concerned about
security, the captain asked a signalman, "What messages are those two
people sending to each other?"
The signalman reported, "Captain, he is sending the letters FF, and she is flashing the letters EF."
The captain ordered the sailor to the bridge. When he arrived, the
captain shouted, "Who is that woman on the pier, and why are you exchanging the signals FF and EF?"

The sailor replied, "Sir, that's my girlfriend, and she wants to eat first."
