1- he is only making $40 a week, what the hell is he doing walking a fucking dog? Tell him to get his ass out there and find a real part time job, or better yet a full time job.

Our rule in our house is as long as you are in school and you will be fed and clothed, after that you are on your own.

2- Whatever you do don't talk to him. Write a nice calm letter or email that explains the situation and keep a copy. That way you can also cc the PM you work with. Friends are friends but work has to come first.
