I think we're a table leg or something!
If you think about all life and living things are broken down in to atoms which consists of a dense nucleus of positively charged protons and electrically neutral neutrons, surrounded by a much larger electron cloud consisting of negatively charged electrons. An atom is electrically neutral if it has the same number of protons as electrons. The number of protons in an atom defines the chemical element to which it belongs, while the number of neutrons determines the isotope of the element.
So I reckon the whole solar system is just that and while it seems really, really, really big to us...we probably seem really really really big to ants and microbes and such.
So we're probably just an atom making up a part of a much larger thing like a cup of coffee or piece of furniture.
That's my opinion anyways...
